  • Should I remove it??

Was just out working on my car a little.. Sick of looking at the A/C lines, condersor, etc.. I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've used it in 5 years.. Time to go? I'm guessing I just need to make blocking plates for the firewall? What all is involved with removed the compressor? Guessing it just bolts to the block, tape off the wiring?

LOL... How is removing the A/C chopping it up? Have you not seen the mess I have to fix already?

After reading this thread, I might as well leave it in for now.. Can't do it properly with the motor in the car.... And I am not pulling the dash..

Never understood why anyone would take this off unless they want a full blown race car.. I LOVE my air

Keep, keep, keep. It's so much more respectable to be able to say "Yeah, I run 10's and still have AC..." I hate seeing people deleting the A/C - to me it's the epitome of hacking a car apart.

Good try James. I disagree with the hacking the car apart, part... Do it right, looks nice.. But, gonna keep it for now. If the motor ever comes out, so is the A/C. Call it what you will, like it or not. It's my car to hack as I want..

                              I've seen it.. BMR...

It was a good idea while it lasted... But without pulling the motor I can't do it correctly.. it's staying..
