2002 Z28 Camaro. I just found out a weeks ago that it has the Ls6 block. Im trying to get more out of the motor. I call'd the performance shop all the work was done at in illinois and Speed INC. I really couldnt get any answers out of them. A few shops here in Canton dont really want to mess with it, due to them thinking Speed INC had a package they put together and dont want to make the car slower, or run differant. It was dyno'd a while ago(previous owner) but i never got the paper work for it, im thinking it has atleast over 420 horse. here's whats done.
12 bolt Moser rear-end (3.73 gears, and 3-channel ABS)
*SLP ls1 high flow elbows
* K &N air filter
*Ported throttle body (80mm)
*Pro 5.0 powertower shifter/quick shift
*Re-built t-56 transmission with aluminum flywheel, with stage 3 clutch
*Adjustable torque arm,
Tubular lower control arm (poly),
Panhard ros relocation kit
*Speed inc- Comp Ls1 custom camshaft 224/224 .581/581,
Comp chrome poly pushrod,
Comp wire springs,
Hookers headers,
MSD superconductor 8.5mm wires,
NGK copper spark plugs,
Hooker Ls1 Y-pipe,
*Custom racingpack mufflers
* SLP skip shift eliminator chip
* SLP front and rear sway bar
* SLP front and rear suspension
* Ported Ls1 heads
* Ls6 intake
* 4point sub-frame connecter
*Ls6 Block
..Im wanting more out of it, but dont know where to go from here. i dont want Turbo,Nos,supercharger i want is N/A. Any idea's would help (sorry if this is confusing) Also can i change the heads w/o having to change the cam? a performance shop said that ls1 ported heads will prolly work better for the car than ls6, or that the cam wont fit with? idk so figured id post here and see what y'all think.
