Red does not want a spec 3 I can tell you that right now. With a cam that nasty the last thing she needs is a nasty clutch to go with it. If i know Red, she isnt launching this car on 28" slicks at the track every weekend. Whatever it is it needs to engage smoothly. My Spec 3 is a great clutch but it causes earthquakes if you dont drive it right.
Id recommend a mcleod twin disk because it can hold the power and also drive smoothly. Its pricey though.Last edited by JoeliusZ28; April 27th, 2010, 11:15 PM.-Joel

Ya, Red needs a stock feeling clutch and the SPEC was really nice but for some reason it failed.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostRed does not want a spec 3 I can tell you that right now. Probably failed because it is in my car.Originally posted by Phantom383 View PostYa, Red needs a stock feeling clutch and the SPEC was really nice but for some reason it failed.
So if I do need a new setup, what about a Hays clutch? They aren't too pricey. But are they any good?
