I found this article helpful, especially since that's where I bought my cam anyways:

Found this just now, seems like a nice write-up.

And I suppose the advantage of a rearmount is that you can still run longtubes? plus some other things.

What kind of cam is it? Solid, hydraulic? I like to do them while the car is running (hydraulic) i loosen the rocker arm nut and then tighten it finger tight. then i take the nut on the inside and tighten that. then take a wrench and tighten the rocker arm nut.

If you have a Haynes or Chilton manual it's laid out well in there.

I don't have mine handy or I would run it down here for ya.

When you are adjusting them I can tell you that once you fell pressure on the push rod give it a 1/2 -3/4 turn and go from there.
Best way to start is to spin the push rod in your fingers till you feel it contact the rocker and the do the 1/2-3/4 turn.

              Hope this helps?

Bring the cylinder to the Compression stroke, wiggle the rocker til it just touches the pushrod then tighten another half turn. I think.. off the top of my head
