I don't even own it and I'm happy just to see one saved...

Well thanks makes me feel better. Now how big of a carb can i go on this 750?

that all depends... how high of rpms are you spinning to too, and how built the motor is.. i would think you should be fine with a 750 for just street driving and not just racing

Ah, depends on your heads...750 would be an improvement...doesn't sound like you have a huge cam, so anywhere between 750 and 850 should work...

the 750 i have is used not new. if i was to sell it i would probably sell it for lets say 150 shipped and its yours. as for the tuning. i tuned mine is halfway decent but it still had tons of room to improve on so i would not feel comfortable doing yours just incase something was to go wrong.

i will be taking a few pictures in a little bit of the holley and putting it up for sale so you can see what kind of shape its in

The painted pulley MIGHT be making it squeak if it's glossy enough. An internal alternator problem (bearing) tends to have quite a different sound. If it is indeed a belt slipping then strip off the paint! Then scuff the belt contact area down with a wire wheel or 80 grit sand paper. While you have the belt off spin the alternator shaft and make sure it spins smoothly just to make sure.

If it turns out that the alternator actually is bad you might want to consider just buying a reman one. They're only $50-60 and many come with a new pulley already installed. Rebuilding them yourself aren't hard if you've done them before, but you're probably looking at 2-4 hours for a first timer. Not that the expirience itself has no value(that's priceless), but all depends if you have less time than cash. Besides that the remans are CLEAN and come with a warranty

Ya an alternator almost sounds like a far off fire truck siren.
