But if you needed one, the junkyard would probably be the cheapest way to get one....

ALright i will have to check see if its wearing oddly it only squeeks when it warms up when its cold it dont!

That would indicate that the pulley bearing or shaft (or both) may be on it's way out...Creight might have a rebuild kit for that one...

I'll be honest...I've rebuilt the electronic guts in an alternator, but I've never had the need to fully rebuild one...but I'm betting that Creight has everything you need.

If not, new alternators are reasonably priced.

And swapping the belt wouldn't hurt...

hey if your looking to get a bigger carb i have a holley 750 that i would off for pretty cheap. its used but i no longer need it for my car. i thought i had a problem with it but my problem ended up being something else and so i bought a demon 650 which i found out is much to small for my application so i will be selling both of those and buying a pro systems carb.

I am not good with carbs. Now will it fit my elderborke intake? Right now i guess there is a 1inch spacer under my current carb.

Hard to tell...but it should be noticable.

Carbs are easy...one small screwdriver is all you need...

What timing you're running is more important...

exactly... all you need to do basically is just see what jets are in it go run it and pull a plug and check and then you can see if its lean or fat. then you just change jets accordingly. and then use the screwdriver to adjust the idle

Any new car you buy will not have anywhere near the torque that one does...you have to get into Z06 territory before that happens.

You have a rare and appreciating car on your hands that is a throwback to the big stroke days that have long left us...you're driving an experience that very few people anymore can claim to have done.

I don't even own it and I'm happy just to see one saved...
