That is definitly the one that i will be going with when i get a short throw. I've just heard that the Pro 5.0 is "notchy", and I HATE that feeling.

Also Fred, dont' you remember me linking you to that cover that 6LiterEater made to cover up the cassete holder?

ya and it had links to a dead end couldnt get ahold of the guy ill go back over it and see if it was user error on my part

Pro 5.0 with Lou's Short Stick here. HUGE difference from my stock shifter that I rocked for 8 years. I used to miss 3rd once in a while. I don't think I've done that since the change.

Seemed to improve my track results as well. I picked up a little speed and dropped the ET a bit. But I NEED to get my shiftlight installed. I start listening to the turbo's and forget it's time to shift. That sound is so euphoric.

I have the Hurst Billet plus with a Lou's Short Stick.
The nice thing about this shifter is that you can reduce some of the notchiness buy removing a couple of the centering springs.
I did this when I installed the short stick because of the reduced leverage.
Shifts like a hot knife through butter now and I've never missed a gear since the install.

I can also get the UMI short stick.

What do you mean by; I can help with either a B&M or Hurst shifter. I'm wanting to out a Hurst in my car this spring-chrome lever, don't need a new handle, but from what I've seen, when you buy the unit with chrome lever it coems with the black ball.
