Me and my Dad have been arguing about this for a while. He is going to be buying a 96 Chevy 2500, 6.5 diesel. He says the first thing he is doing is taking the cat off of it. I told him it will throw a code being it is a 96, so there is an O2 sensor after the cat. He doesn't seem to believe me, whois right here?

If it's got an O2 sensor after the cat, you will get a code. You should be able to get an O2 simulator that will fix that though.
It was amazing on my GTP. As soon as I put the O2 simulator on it the cat fell right off. haha.
