I've always called em cages...lol I doubt I'll ever run as fast as you. 8 point is just adding the 2 bars running into the floor behind the console?

I've seen quite a few 4th gens with bottles on the tunnel in the back seat with no problems.

I was told to back half it was gonna be 10k for my 67 Buick..I figured for that price it would never get done.. but then again I do not know anyone that does it around me now..

I'll have to get with you when i decide to do it.. Maybe we can work something out with your buddy.. 900 for chromemoly is cheap! I know I wouldn't get the buddy deal, but still sounds like he would be way cheaper than where I got quoted..

i just talked to him again larry and its a mild steel not chromoly roll bar. sorry for the confusion. he said for what im doing the little bit of extra weight isn;t going to kill me so why spend the extra loot. but im sure when the time comes he could work something out with you but that is also with me pulling the interior which is easy for me when im replacing a bunch of it anyway

you can do cages many ways, but if you do a 10pt, Take the dash out and do it right!! its a pain in the ass, but looks much better.. Also did you want the roll bar painted to match the ext paint?

I really don't know at this point. I was originally just curious if a price I was quoted was reasonable.. I won't be doing anything anytime soon.. I may just buy a kit and do it myself??
