Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

also i found this one.. looks like itd be very helpful. this guy is putting 2 turbos on it but its pretty nuch the same as youre looking to do. http://www.hustonstreetracing.com/jerrynews.htm
That would be awesome but can you put together a turbo kit for $1000? If so PM me. I would be glad to see if there were an arrangement that we could come to. I would not mind sporting your company's logo on my car and clothing.
If you are going to do the work, might as well of had a V8.
Then put twin turbos on it if you want.

So its pretty much a bad investment? Alright I'm back looking at LT1s. I found one for with 82K on it $1500 with all accessories, PCM, 4L60E Trans. What do you think?
I rode in Justin's turbo bird and it's QUICK when it spools up and it wasn't even close to full boost for the setup he has. It is a LOT of hassle and headache to do a motor swap from another vehicle. You have to deal with all the wiring and making the computer work with the car's body systems. It USED to be simple when everything was mechanical and carbbed. With FI cars and integrated computers it's a lot of work and frustration to do if you have never attempted such a thing. Justin's base turbo kit will put you close to the power of a stock LT1 without all the hassel of the swap. He has upgraded stages of the turbo kit if you still want more power. Plus you'll still keep the slightly better fuel economy of the V6.

I am very interested in a turbo kit. I would just like to know if he could do a kit for less than $2000 for parts. If so I would like to make payments to him to start purchasing the parts and then next spring or so have him help me install the parts.
