yes, supported the axle tubes on jack stands and hung the plumb-bobs from the fenders. Measured from the out-most point on the axel tube to the the string until both sides were spot on equal. Seems to be pretty good for now. I'll double check in with my new wheels and tires next month

          Thanks for all the help!

          • Thanks again for the help Craig!

The rear end of the car sits way better now - will sit even more so once the springs settle!

            • 10 Bolt Rear End Alignment

Tonight's project was aligning the 10 bolt. What we did was hang some plumb-bobs over the wheel wells and measure to the hub end on the axle. Measured from there to the plumb line and adjusted accordingly to make both sides equal. Then we torqued all the bolts to spec and moved onto the front disassembly. Didn't get very far yet, but it's a start.

These pictures show the rear on the Strano Lowering Springs...

at first, no - we mounted the wheels and they looked way off. Called Craig and he pointed out our major goof up. So yes, then we put jack stands under the axle tubes to load the suspension and simulate the tires being on the ground.

Still not sure how we forgot that one, haha.

But yeah, once we had it loaded, worked a lot better.
