yes, supported the axle tubes on jack stands and hung the plumb-bobs from the fenders. Measured from the out-most point on the axel tube to the the string until both sides were spot on equal. Seems to be pretty good for now. I'll double check in with my new wheels and tires next monthOriginally posted by 9T8W66 View PostDid you guys finally get the rear lined up correctly ?

10 Bolt Rear End Alignment
Tonight's project was aligning the 10 bolt. What we did was hang some plumb-bobs over the wheel wells and measure to the hub end on the axle. Measured from there to the plumb line and adjusted accordingly to make both sides equal. Then we torqued all the bolts to spec and moved onto the front disassembly. Didn't get very far yet, but it's a start.
These pictures show the rear on the Strano Lowering Springs...

at first, no - we mounted the wheels and they looked way off. Called Craig and he pointed out our major goof up. So yes, then we put jack stands under the axle tubes to load the suspension and simulate the tires being on the ground.Originally posted by ThreeHonks View Postlooks good fred! did you have the full weight of the car on the rear wheels when adjusting the panhard?

Can you argue that it's "revolutionary"? Perhaps. Just because it's "new" and "different" doesn't mean it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
