Had the battery charged/tested at autozone... popped it back in and it fired right up. Drove it for a loop and everything seems fine. I hadn't driven the car in about a week, idk if the radar detector being plugged in drained the battery or what? But I find it odd that I couldn't get it to turn over more than once when I was trying to jump it with my truck.

If the battery is extremely dead they don't seem to want to jump either. Jeff's battery was beyond dead and we hooked my Jeep up to it for like 5 mins and it wouldn't crank more than once. He charged it over night and the car has started every time so far.

Paint Shop: Day 4

Well as you all know, the car was dropped off Monday afternoon... I was assured they'd take good care of it. So I stopped by the shop today to check on things and pull out my tail lights and center panel (thanks for the instructions Ryan!) for polishing. Turns out the body guys have been pretty busy the past couple days

So far they have...
1. Removed door moldings
2. Block sanded the hood
3. Block sanded the bumper cover
4. Removed the driver side mirror
5. Started blocking the fenders
6. Removed vents from fenders and hood - will be painted matte black

Things are looking great so far, I can't wait to see it done. More pictures to come tomorrow when I stop by again. They are planning to shoot most of the parts the middle of next week.

I'm nervous it will be too much black. I also wish the spokes were not curved...

I think its too much black. I'm still gonna voice my opinion that c5 DD with a machined face will look KILLER on your car.

Yeah... they're alright. I was also debating widening some 17" WS6 wheels and having them rechromed

hey.. sorry to point this out, but they scratched your paint... im not exactly sure whether it's deep enough to get to the paint or if it just affected the clear... just thought id point it out! LOOKS GOOD!

I think you're right. I'm going to focus the search on chrome wheels for now. I have all winter to decide...
