That's what I went with - Koni 4/3's. So far so good. I got then from Strano, he had the best price at the time.

Thanks! Do you remember what you set them to?

Not a big deal if you ask me, rear shocks are removed fairly easily.

One click off full soft. You can call/email Strano and he will give you suggested settings too.

Also, you can get to the adjusters if you jack your car up and let the rear end hang.

Thanks Matt, glad you enjoyed the thread thus far. I feel like there's still a ton left that I could do to the car, but I'm just enjoying the turn-key drivability and it still scoots pretty well for what it is.

                • A couple years back (right after I bought the car), I sand blasted and painted the calipers... Well since Darren and Jon started doing powder-coating, I took them apart again and took them over. They did an awesome job at a great price! I rebuilt them with all new components, except pistons, and I think they turned out pretty good.

                          • Very nice! How hard is it to disassemble/reassemble them far enough down that they can be powdercoated? I assume you need to remove the piston and all that?

Anything rubber will have to be removed. Oven gets to around 400-450 when baking powdercoat. Back when I was taking motorcycle classes you just have to blow the pistons out with an air gun in the bleeders or where the break line goes in. Keep your fingers out of the way

Calipers look great! I need to get around to doing mine
