ya you lucked out with hood clearance on that... looks like you have just about as tall of an intake as mine but i couldnt fit it with the slope on a bird... i only have a 2 1/2 inch filter on it now and it would hit the stock hood... did you run true duals? i need to fix mine they are about as high as i could get them running down the stock channels but i think if i get some long tubes and just heat them up bend them tight to the body i might get some more room... great job though looks great...

yeah i think im going to just have to run a 2.5 inch filter and it should fit. nope i actually went with a full hooker system. supercomp shorties up front and the aero chamber 3" catback. for what the difference would be and the gound clearance issue with tru duals it wasn't worth it.

You have your belt routed wrong. Its right, in that everything will turn the right way, but you dont have enough of the crank pulley contacting the belt, it might slip when you stand on it.

Let me make a paint of how you should run it.

That'll give you a lot more belt area on the crank pulley.

oh no i love it... took me a bit to get a belt to fit the underdrive pulleys right had one too tight and one too loose but found a nice gator back it works great only drove the car for like a week before that piston broke but i could already tell it was better so much lighter and easier to take on and off for any repairs... thanks alot...

what kinda carb do you have now... ive got a 770 holley street avenger but one of the ears is busted... any holley baseplate will pretty much work for it... it ran great on my 383 till i busted that ear off... just havent had a chance to find another parts carb or call up holley for a new base plate
