Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I do believe it is a 30% gets confusing with them all... we have a small hanger in our crawlspace... I can post a pic and derail my own thread for a bit. This is just one of at least 25 total planes my dad has, I sold most of mine except a Heli, 2 small planes and a couple R/C cars 1/10th scale and a 1/8th scale, the 1/8th is really.. really quick
To put this into perspective, that's a older 52" TV. this is the same plane in the pic from under my car.
Its defenitly not a .60, the one there is a 30% looks smaller than it is really.. its as long as our pool table in the basement. My heli is a Trex450, the model one down from the SE, but I have the SE body on it. My cars are an assosiated T3 with a Novak brushless 5.5R system, and my gas 1/8th is a GS Storm buggy with a an older Novarossi .21 in it.
Didn't get quite as much done as I planned on, started at 7pm and had little time before it was dark. Trans lines are kinda mocked up, not connected completly yet, heater core lines in, radiator hoses, throttle body cooler line in, new radiator in place. Here are some pics of the process, was dark when I took most of them.
Clip of the motor starting for the first time in the car! Could not actually run the motor for more than a short bit due to not having any engine coolant in, the intake has to come off to get to the oil pressure sending unit. Oh and... when you go to try and start the car the first time after putting fuel lines in 2 years back, remember to actually connect the lines to the tank. We dumped about a gallon of gas on accident because they were put in so long ago, we did not know if the tank was going to be dropped at a later point. So we didn't connect them.... its funny now, was not so during. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVPcYy3ZJlE

Thanks all for the positive feedback! Goal was to get the car up and driving before my birthday.. but that's coming up this Friday on the 14th so that isn't going to happen. I will be out to a meet this summer or fall Brian. Not sure if I should say keep my word on that or not... but you can if you want, it's only been like 3 years... Side note getting a disk rear end 3.73 gears limited slip 10 bolt for like 300 ish come Tuesday. I'll be putting that in during the week hopefully!
Finally some really good news! After pulling the intake to run the wire off the oil pressure sending unit, putting together the K&N kit with some various pieces to get the LT1 kit to work with the LS motor, and topping it all off with fluids. The motor finally runs at an idle without the assist of me fighting to keep it around 700 - 1000 rpm or it would stall. Here is a short clip of the car running at idle.
Most of the wires go to the dash and the body harness. I have nothing to do with that, my uncle has it all figured out.. i handed him schematics for the gauge cluster and fuel system for both the 2000 LS1 and the 96 3.8 and he worked his magic getting it to run. Engine Temp and the Fuel gauge don't work as of now. Gotta drop the tank and switch over some stuff with the fuel pump and my old one. Then get a gauge pod for the engine temp sensor and i believe oil pressure.. not sure exactly as of yet
