Thanks everyone whos not dogging on me for wanting to do something good for our planet's and our children's future. It would be a challenge but it be cool to say that I have the most eco-friendly fbody in the world and it runs on fuel I can get for free from restaurants!

i dont think anyone thinks your intentions are bad. its just that in reality you are looking at a HUGE pita, only to save .00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the environment.-Joel

But isn't that a start? I mean how does it make sense not to? I would feel honored to know that something I was part of had positive global impact. Its one thing to do something for yourself. Its another thing to do it for someone else. I mean isn't that the point?

And your point is...?Originally posted by 06camarodudeWhy do you always reply to what Ben says? You live with him! lol j/k
That would be like me saying you couldn't reply to him because you're friends and you're in jazz band together. Doesn't make much sense.

im thinking you should find an already diesel vechical the cost and changeover is going to cost far to much and with a the 3.8 your already getting decent gas millage for a gas vehical...you could pick up a old chevy diesel truck ive seen a few converted to bio diesel... guy just drove from resturant to resturant taking the old frying oil... but you still need a new quick release fuel filter... probably some kinda heated tank being we are in michigan for winters that stuff will start to harden up...nothing major motor wise to run it... ill drive behind you if you smell like french fires...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.

So would I! I love french fries! If you were to get the grease from Wendy's or Arby's, which are my favorite fries, I will retract all previous statements about how stupid this idea was. . . lolOriginally posted by wezelesill drive behind you if you smell like french fires...Nick H.

I can't believe anyone would even think about this.Originally posted by pheonix_risingI love my car and I love the enviroment. But the two don't go so well together. One thing I have been following is the idea of Biodiesel fuel. Its like cooking oil that is filtered. Well anyway I was thinking... What are the possiblilties of installing a diesel motor in an fbody for the purpose of running biodiesel? Has this ever been done before? Anyone want to try?
Why would you want a diesel in a fbody?
If you must have a diesel go buy a truck or a Volkswagon.

I like your idea of making an enviro-friendly F-body, but only if it still has POWER. ......buut biodiesal need to advance a little more before i'd put one in a f-body.Originally posted by pheonix_rising...Also all of the scientific journals I've read say that biodiesal is very efficient and the only byproducts are a popcorn smell. ....
And no offence but i dont think "a popcorn smell" is a real byproduct. lol-Mike
