Alright well I have this huge plan to take a diesel 350 alright? Swap the head and intake and a carb just use the block from the diesel. Because the diesel has a big cam and it should be a rockin motor right>???

...or you could buy a 350 SBC that's normal and runs on gas...

I'm pretty sure the heads and water jackets are totally different from gas to diesel heads...ignition could be a big problem too.

The only gas/diesel combo I've ever even heard of being remotely possilble is a late 70s Oldsmobile 350 diesel with a heavily reworked Olds 425 crank and 455 heads...never actually heard if the guy got it running though...someone would be duplicating it if he did.

So I'd say the chances of going from diesel to gas are slim to none.

Now diesel to natural gas, that can be done...
