i ran into a problem i dont have the girdles that bolt the drive shaft to the yoke that is on the back of the tranny does anybody know where to get these

i should have some now i got a bunch from the locall mechanic and he said find some that fit and bring the rest back and then he will figure out the bill. i got the converter on now i have to lift the tranny up to the bottom of the car any tricks for this i have some floor jacks i plan on using but is there an easyer way without a tranny jack.

also were do you drain the oil out of a 700r4 auto tranny and were do you fill it with oil.

is there anyplace that is open tommorrow that i would be able to get a flywheel for a 10.5 in clutch like a certain junk yard or something. because i dont think i can get that auto back in by myself i am trying but everytime i start to get it up there it ethier hits the bottom of the car or falls off the jack and i am just getting to frustrated to get it in there. so can somebody tell me of a junk yard that they are pretty sure that would have one.

You have to drain the oil by taking off the transmission pan, i take out pretty much all the bolts except one end and then loosen them up slowly so the trans fluid is some what controlled when its coming out lol, and when you fill it you fill it through your dipstick tube. Also the few times I have pulled the engine/trans and replaced them in my third gens I pulled them and put them back in while the engine and transmission were still attached, was really easy that way instead of messing around trying to get to the bellhousing bolts.

i dont have an engine leveler we tried that before and it didnt work because we couldnt tip the transmission back up.

nobody knows where to find a flywheel for a 10.5 in flywheel for a small block chevy. i would really like to get ot saturday that way i can get the tranny in the car. i have a horrible time with craigslist i can never find anything on there and every junk yard i call never have the parts i need. so can anybody point me in the direction of a flywheel.

thank you for posting thows up but they wanted $165 for a brandnew one and $150 for a used one i was hopeing to find one for around $50 at tops thats why i thought a junk yard but being a kid they look at me and act like i am a retard and i cant get anywhere with them. but thank you very much for posting them up for me to take a look at.
