Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

We are just trying to steer you away from wasting money that's all.
If you are dead set on it, you will have to send your intake away and have it machined for a dist. hole/hold down clamp and you will have to get a new cam that has a dist. gear on it. That's alot of money say compared to buying a used stealth ram and bolting it on and being done with it...and making better power for your set-up.....oh and it looks WAY cooler than a LT1 intake
If I remember correctly, the Lt1 cams already have the distributor gear on them, even though the Lt1 doesnt use it. It was probably cheaper for GM to use existing camshaft design principles than to request a one off design to do the exact same thing.
The only use for an Lt1 305 would be in a situation where someone was building an engine for use in certain racing series that limit engine cubes. But even then most require the stock heads too.
oh i wasnt dead set on the idea.. ill most likely never do it in my life. I just thought it was cool that it was possible and i wanted to know a bit more about it.
well lets see... im sure if you looked around extremely hard you could have the lt1 parts for cheap... extremely cheap. im sure you could eventually find it.
You get it machined... then stroke your 305 to a 334... so a 334 LT1...
