Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Yep! And with the right support mods GP motors will see 9's!
It'll see 8s in a motorized bar stool.
BTW, wasn't there one of those at the M&G 2 years ago?

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
Well Ben, I think this proves that any car with just about any motor, can run 9's in the 1/4 with enough money put into it. I'm sure if I spent 20k on my cavalier and put a big enough pair of twin turbo's on my Ecotec and beefed up the internals and everything else I could get into the 9's eventually.
yea i think horsepower has a fairly linear bang/$ ratio no matter what platform you go with. Some engines react better to mods than others, but rarely is it substantial. Many people say v8's are the cheapest (i think this could be true because of the sheer volume of parts availible) others say v6 or I4 underdogs are where its at... but from a personal standpoint id say it looks pretty close.
I think the cheapest horsepower you can buy is with a newer diesel. Some of the numbers people crank out of duramax's and cummins motors with just a PCM tune, CAI and exhaust is unreal.
