Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I talked to the parts guy Don at Berger for a while about the Carb LS2 crate engine. He said he has a few friends who have got them and they absolutely love them since they'll pull higher than the F.I. LS1s/LS2s. I was thinking about that Carb LS2 motor for the next project since it really is a very easy install and comes with 440hp out of the box with no worries and a warranty! That'd be the easiest V8/M6 swap ever.

Ive been thinking bout this also, carbed motor with a M6 swap, i dont think putting a carbed motor in a newer car is bad just says you like the style of new but the power of old.
Mods: Ram Air Intake (CAI)
K&N Filter Polished Throttle Body and MAF Sensor
De-screened MAF Sensor Tightened Throttle Body Cable
Performance Button Setting Changed for Torque 160* HypterTech Thermo
Water Wetter New Distributor, Plugs, Wires
New Water Pump LT4 Knock Sensor Flowmaster 40 Series Muffler TB AirFoil
where would you get a wiring kit like that? I may kick that idea around too.
Just buy a complete motor/trans/harness to begin with. My bosses father in law bought an LS6/M6 with a harness out of his buddies 'vette for $1500. The damn thing only has like 23k miles on it!!!! It's sitting on a pallet in the barn at my work as we speak. I thought about getting a clean as hell 98+ V6
and offering him 2k for the motor/trans
1999 Pontiac Trans Am- LS1 - M6 - ITSSLOW - 12.998@109.59 - SOLD
1994 Chevrolet Camaro - 3.4L - M5 - ITSSLWR - 16.558@85.38 2003 Chevrolet Blazer
Correct me if i am wrong, but from what it looks like all i would need is this Painless kit, an LS1 motor, a M6 transmission, electronic Gas pedal, and various mounts.
I used a Speatech harness when I did my LS1 swap..literally it was hooking up 5 wires, easy as pie. Why lose half the benifit of of swapping in an LS1 by throwing a carb on it??
