coolant flush ftw. Wow thats bad. Get it done cause if u over heat those aluminum heads will warp and then u have to get them milled. Thats what happened to my friend chris's 94 z2800 ws6 vert a4 ( mods in garage )

im not sure, but that could be from someone mixing tap or well water in the coolant system, instead of distilled or whatnot.

That is what happens when you use Dex-Cool (Red) Coolant. It is crap in our engine, causing havoc with our coolant system. Flush it out really well several times using concentrated coolant system cleaner, then use the Yellow/Green Coolant (Not The Red).
There are many documented cases of Dex-Cool causing major problems including damage to head and intake gaskets.Comment
