No sensor after the cat. I have a loud exhaust already with a custom cat back so maybe a new cat if needed for sound. The leak at the cat seems to be where that line connects, I need to get a better look at it but I did tighten the clamp holding it on, still leaks. The terrible noise seems to run the entire line from the valve off the air pump/engine to the cat. The whole thing acts like its under way too much pressure when it kicks on at low rpm after its warmed. So my thought is that line into the cat is clogged?? Exhaust seems to flow thru the cat just fine and no performance issues. Right now I just have the top of the line pulled off from the valve where it is a rubber hose. The air pump belt is still connected so warm air pumps out into the engine compartment, but if I hook that hose back up to the cat my whinning noise is back right there. Should I just take the belt off from the air pump and run it like that for now? It is likely that i will eventually swap out this engine and not use the air pump stuff at that time anyhow.
So any harm or any thing additional I should do to disable the air pump? Any other suggestions?
Thanks
