Official blown 10 bolt list

I blew the posi out. Had it replaced with a Eaton posi. Last year on woodward on a nitrous run..i broke the axle where the splines are..that go into the posi unit. It blew it apart in three pieces which shot a piece threw the posi housing tearing up the spider gears on its way through.

I dont have enough power to blow my rear end LOL!!
I updated to a series 3 carrier and went with a Richmond 3.73 gear.
But I have no worries about blowing it. My little 305 doesnt make that much power.

i blew two 10 bolts, and one 9 bolt all with my ls6 swapped camaro before i put in a fab 9

No he means 9 bolt.....9 bolts came in 3rdgens for awhile.

James is right, 9 bolts came in some 3rd gens, i believe it was made in Australia....

I figure if I put MT on my car I will blow it but thats why I'm putting in the 9" ford

I got some of the stuff out of the way(torque arm, driveshaft, brakes) and will be ordering my 9" tommorow . I know i'll get flamed for having a 9" on a bolt-on car this year, but I don't feel like spending all the money to fix my 10 bolt this just to have it blow up next year under 383 power ( i can't afford to build my 383 this year and set the car up to handle it too)

not a bad route...that's what i did...i blew a few clutches, a trans and a few rear ends with just 400rwhp....now i've fixed all the glitches and it's time for more power!.... only thing left that will break now is the T56....TH350 will be the next trans for me...
