who in here has blown there 10 bolt. I did about a month and a half after getting it. Mine didn't blew up but started howling like crazy so i tore it down and 5 teeth on the ring gear all had cracks along the base of the teeth. One more good launch probably would of took care of that.

I broke my spider gears in the stock auburn posi, fixed it and blew them again in the same week.
I have since built it and it has lasted a year and a half of abuse with no problems. they aren't all bad you just need to do the right things to it...sigpicAnd another thing.....when I gun the motor, I want the whole world to think it's coming to an end.

im getting a second 10 bolt, rebuilding and swapping out my stocker this spring hopefully. Reason being i dont think my stocker is gonna last much longer behind my spec 3. It grabs pretty serious on the shifts.-Joel

I blew my 3.42's didn't have the coin at the time to get a 9" so i had it rebuilt with 3.73's...blew those guys up in a matter of a few months and had the coin for a 9" that time so scott built me up a dandy 9"1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo

Spun a bearing in the rear pretty much, scott built me a decently solid 10 bolt back up, new U-joints, GM 4.10 Ring and Pinion, Eaton rebuildable posi, 1 new axleshaft, new bearings and seals...
