Thanks guys, do i need to remove the rear housing of the trans to get to that or is it accessible with the bushing removed?

The housing needs to come off. Honestly, it doesn't sound like yours is worn. And even if it was, I'd opt for a new rear housing before replacing the bushing if it were me.

Good news. It is the wheels and tires. Swapped on one of my sets of salad shooters and blasted down a country road... smooth as butter. No idea how or when this happened, all of my z06 wheels wheels spin true and it doesnt look like i lost any weights. Last summer they were in perfect balance. Going to take them into discount tomorrow.

This means I am going to have a spare aluminum driveshaft for sale!

Discount has road force machines. You can balance a tire /wheel perfect but have runout. The road force (r1h) machine will see and show you where to move the tire. Ask them for the force numbers(lbs) and put the highest in the RR

Im not sure if a mount/dismount is worth the risk of damaging a wheel with these low profile tires. Considering i have no clue how it happened and all the wheels spin true im hoping i dont have some belt seperation going on when the tires still have plenty of tread remaining.

Tires rebalanced. Everything is perfect again. Apparently i just pull too many holeshots and the (then) rear tires had rotated around the rims.

meissen are you looking for another aluminum driveshaft? $100 for the mint condition one i bought from Lorne.

Nah with all these darn issues I'm having, I think I'm better to stick with the steel driveshaft
