    Thank you, it's appreciated!

I think it is because the other solenoid is spring loaded.

Your Welcome. Im pretty sure your correct on it, I dont have access through gm to look back that far for trans internals, but our trans tech will know and he may even have a few ideas. He def. scares me, its kinda like sphinx in gone in 60 when the 2 guys are fighting over who has to tell him he has a phone call lol.

Just a couple thoughts did you blow out the trans cooler ? did they put an upgrade pump in it ? did they upgrade the sunshell ?

Yep blew it out both ways, the pump was sopossed to have been upgraded to more or less veins, don't remember what the guy said. I have a beast shell in it.

When I turn the key on the 2-3 shift solenoid receives ground for a split second and clicks.
I removed the pcm and grounded the soleinod wiring to the transmission, the 2-3 and 3-2 both click when ground is applied.

Alright John, heres what we know, 1st pull that solenoid out and verify there is a spring in the loose one, if there is next make sure when you push the rod in by hand it returns fully, it may be sticking. If that all checks out drop the valve body and verify all check balls are in it. If thats all good then the next thing is a seal inside the trans maybe not seated or installed backwards and allowing the fluid to blow by. can you see what the trans pressure is doing while driving ? If you can it will prolly be dropping down when into 3rd or 4th gear.

Trans pressure stayed about 185 when it was messing up. In manual 3rd & 4th it would do 200ish psi ~4,500 rpm.
The valve and rod both more freely. The guy who built it said pull the VB and look at the gaskets.

The 3-4 in the trans I pulled out were wasted. Atleast 5/16 in between top plate and snap ring...
