What would a 10 bolt be worth out of A 98 ls camaro.

no whines, 373 gears, abs, does not have backing plates, brakes,

  • #2
I bought a stock 3.42 10 bolt for $250. No brakes. Just axles, housing, center section, axle tubes.

Sometimes a 3.73 could hurt the value and raise it at the same time. Hurt it because who knows who's hands were in there and also on the benefit side, 3.73s are a great gears.

    Just my opinion.

As said. Once a 10 bolt has been opened up and things changed they could have the possibility of being a *pulls the pin and throws the 10 bolt* FIRE IN THE HOLE!

The 3.73 is a great gear for an A4 though.

Gotcha I just pulled mine and I'm about to get rid of it and needed to know a price range. I just gotta get the backing plates off first

          Ahahaha perfect analogy.

I agree with these guys. $250 is about what they go for stock. The ring gear will help or hurt the value depending on the buyer.

I'd probably say around ~225 since its been opened unless the buyer really wants to risk it for the 3.73s.
              ~250 if it wasn't opened.

                3 or 4 channel?

I know the 96-97 cars that have traction control like mine will cost more to replace the rear end since there was fewer made.

If its a 98 I am going to assume its 4 channel. As 95 was the year they introduced the ASR.
If you ask me traction control sucks.
I turn it off in the snow in my Cruze. I go to gun it out and the car is like "uh oh its slippy out" and I go
