I spoke to Moser, the end housing is bad.. They said it probably spun a bearing at some point. So at some point someone replaced that bearing, because the one in it now is brand new, no nicks, scratches, nothing.. I have to have the end housing replaced and also have the carrier bearings checked since the axle was floating. I measured the ID's this morning. Drivers side was 3.150(what it should be), passenger side was 3.175(.025 to big). Bearings measure 3.148.. Local shop is doing up an estimate for me, seller has said he will stand behind his item.. Guess we will see when I get the estimate..

EDIT: Seller is going to cover housing replacement costs.. I planned to replace bearings and seals, since they had to be removed for new studs anyway.. Sets me back on my time schedule a little bit though..

Yep. His exact response to my text when I found the issue and thanked him for working with me was "sometimes to maintain a good reputation you have to spend some $$$$"

True to his word, seller has already paid for repairs. Rear should be done end of this week, early next week.
