Hey guys Im trying to get the camaro back together in time for the harper cruise. Im putting the rear brakes back together with new parts. and I noticed the pads have these little tabs of them that seem to stop the pad from resting against the front of the caliper. Now that I have it together the one side i have done seems a bit tight. I can still spin it by hand but slowly since Im turning the whole rear end. Im thinking if I just put it in drive and let it wear a little space for it self it should be fine. what do you think? I guess I could pull it apart and wear down those tabs instead, but I don't know why they are there.

No, no pics yet sorry. However after taking a second glance at it, it looks like it will be fine. Now I just gotta figure out what they call that mounting bar that the slides ride in, had a slide bust off in the piece, I cant get it out and if its cheap enough I'll just get a new oneThe Chevy Camaro was built with a single purpose in mind which it executes flawlessly...Going very very fast in a straight line until your hair catches on fire.
