yeah thats what im getting at. The car is a purpose built race car. so what if it has a full interior, I have never really seen a 4th gen gutted anyway, its not like interior pieces weigh a lot.
That car works well with what it has and im sure they arent lying about what is done to it. Ai makes some very good stuff and their customers' cars seem to fly.

back on track the question was how much hp can the BLOCK hold, so I'd say guys are making 1000hp on them or are they not? No matter how its made of course, he never listed specifics.Doing less with more

I would guess it depends on your deffinition of "limits". My deffinition of limits is beingable to detonate without splitting the block, lol. Being a thinwall block, I wonder what the longevity of one of those 1,000 hp LT1 is? And if they are using hard block, what modifications they are making to the block for druability, etc. Interesting stuff. Eric L

I don't know if there are any I just threw it out as more of a question than anything. I know there are LS blocks that guys take that far, the crank is fine at that level just the pistons and rods need upgrading. Would I build it for that power and expect it to be indestructible, hell no.Doing less with more

I dont know if there are any either. I know with some guys running 8s with a 3000 lbs plus car, they gotta be close. I wonder what block modifications they are making? And if they are hard blocking the bottom of the water jackets? Were not planing on hard blocking ours. We have billet caps and hoping for the best, lol. Eric L
