Like I said I won't be getting it done till Oct when I get my school check, but I've looked at 3 different ads on CL and this guy was in the middle starting out price wise. It does have a warranty and the guy seemed to know his stuff. I posted on a local forum to see if anyone there knew of the guy or of someone else in the area.

I've decided that I'm going to wait till spring when I get tax returns. No point in rushing to get it fixed just in time for storage. I might be able to afford to have it built a little stronger while I'm at it. Been talking to some people and was told there is no way I'm getting new parts for $515. Had a guy referred to me that is local and will do it for around $1000 with all new parts.

go with the 700r4 your buddie has, then put in hydrolic valve for tourq converter, this will help with overdrive and not burn out trans, im running the 85 trans in my 94 with the 93 motor.
