When I dyno'd my car, I hit max horsepower and torque around 3450 rpms. I was thinking of putting in a bigger stall this winter and was going to do the 3200 stall. Now Im wondering if I should go with a 3400 stall because of where I reached max hp and tq. This is a daily driver ( at least not during the winter) and would like to keep it streetable. I just want to wake it up a little, not that it really needs it and the tires will prove it, but people say go bigger. What do you think?? Thanks for the help.

if you do that your going to miss out on all the power... you want it to kick in before you hit that power band.... a 3000 stall would be just about right... you will get the power right when its kicking in and then be able to go to your redline. toss up a copy of your dyno if you have itOriginally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.

First off wtf is up with your dyno numbers? 255 is not right at all and it should never reach peak hp on a LS1 anywhere near 3450, mine pulled all the way to 6200 at least. Your torque seems way off as well where was this done at and what type fo dyno was it on? As for the converter I have a Fuddle 3500 and love it! I wouldn't go smaller than 3200 IMO and depending on your goals I could help you figure out how big you wanna go. I wish I went 4000.Doing less with more

I have heard bad stuff about the company (porters performance) that had brought the dyno out, but I didnt know it was going to be them or I would have never went, but it still only cost me $25 to do the dyno.sigpic
