Pro 5.0 and UMI shortstick, currently stock shift knob because I refuse to pay $40 for a plastic ball with the six-speed pattern on it.

          Used to own a Firebird.

I had a UMI pistol grip with Z28 etched in it. I LOVED the shifter. The trans didn't though.

I use a pro 5.0 with a pistol grip. I cut the handle down and custom bent the handle to better the pistol grip. IMO best setup by far for the six speed. I have the grip aimed at third when it is in second, and the only time i ever miss a gear is because I am too quick on the clutch. The synchros and 10 bolt dont like it so much though. i was consisently chirping 4th gear with a stock engine
