  • v6 manual tranny questions...

i am putting a 3800 into my 1975 hornet, leaning towards using a 5 speed for it, but cant seem to find a solid answer...from what i can tell, it's just a T5 trans right? do the 3800 camaro/firebird tranny's have a removeable bellhousing? and if so...can i get a bellhousing from somewhere and just use an older unit? just need to find out what my options are. i deal with 99.999% front wheel drive 3800 stuff so i have no idea where i can get a trans to bolt up.....thanks guys!

i have seen bellhousing's on ebay for what looks like 3rd gen v8 cars...wondering if the newer T5's also have a removeable bellhousing or if they are all 1 piece...
