Is that a true Ford 9" or is it like a Currie or someother brand? I know Currie makes 'bolt in' rear ends for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd gens. Not sure about 4th. From the sounds of all the grinding it wasn't a 'bolt in' one Should be pretty BAMF.

Third and Fourth gen rears interchange. With the exception that the 4th gen is 2" wider and some have ASR.

it's actually a mutt 9 inch lol..... Moser 9 inch housing with a Strange Center section. basically just a 9 inch center that moser welded on the axle tubes and everything to "fit" an f-body. but i had to do a little more grinding to get the Torque Arm mount to fit.

Larry get's a cookie he was right i had to grind a crap load more to use the second set of TA mount holes because the TA hit the tunnel....anyways..... yeah i got that figured out. and then i mounted the flex line that goes from the chassis to the rear end. now i need to go buy some more brake line. because what i bought wasn't long enough. i had a perfect piece bent and everything but i need a few more inches (that's what she said hahaha JK) flamed myself before you guys could lol...... yea so time for some more stuff....update later tonight when im further along

          told ya
I didn't grind mine, I cut it off down the center of the first set of holes.

I can't believe the number of people that throw them on, then awhile later notice a big hole in their floor. How can they not hear it hitting??

yeah i get that a lot cause im only 19. but I work at a detail shop and we do a TON of expensive high end stuff. and we do boats as well (which pays really big) if you look under the car pictures section. i have a thread of a bunch of pics i took over a span of a few days at my work of the kinds of things i do (found the thread http://mifbody.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=3137). i don't have a "set amount" of what i get paid. because i get commission on whatever i do. i get paid 35 or 40%...i forget of whatever i do. now that it's spring and "boat season" (busy time) i'm making between $600 and $700 a week cash. so that's not too bad for being 19.

but the biggest part of it i would say is that
              A) no girlfriend right now = HUGE SAVINGS
              B) living at home = $Free.99 a month
              and my only bills are
              1) Cell Phone
              2) Car Payment ($300 a month)
              3) Food...lots of food....i have a high metabolism hahaha

that's the run down on my monetary situation for anyone that cared
