That blows, never been before, I really wanted to go. Would changing the fluid help at all? Do I use any posi additive for the torsen? I didnt think you were supposed to, but I see some do.

Just take it easy if you still want to go. I went and just pussy-footed the launch (2.2-2.4 60's) and was running 13.4's at 109 mph. The MPH doesn't lie about the power of your car, then you can at least have an estimate of what it'd run if you were able to cut some decent 60's.

Id be afraid of it going on the 1 -> 2 shift though, it hits like a ton of bricks.

Speaking of which - what does wheel hop even feel like? All I've ever felt has been the car go sideways but never hop

It feels...stupid, that's the only way I can describe it. I havent had it in any car I've owned. To be honest, I SHOULD have had it in both this car since it's lowered, and in my previous FWD car, but neither of them have ever done it. My friend's completely stock 99 civic would wheelhop like a biotch. It didn't help that it was a basemodel and therefore was slow as shit; it just looked and sounded rediculous when it happened.

Ah... only thing I've felt with my rear axle is the axle slamming into my floor pan from bottoming out all the time.

Anyway, sorry to hijack, move along.

Seriously though, might not be a bad idea to take it to the track but be gentle on the take off - would be good experience timing the light.

Wheel hop feels differently in each car. I have subframe connectors in my car, so it just feels like the rear-end is literally jumping up and down. Shakes ya a bit but not too bad. I used to get wheelhop with my old tires, which I never understood cause they were just Sumitomo HTR-Z2s. The new tires haven't done it since I put them on. On the way to the meet and greet I felt wheelhop one time in a non sfc car with high power, and it felt like the car was in a fckin earthquake. Lol, scared the **** out of me.

Hey Spencer don't worry to much my rear end has been whining for over a year now and I think its because I tightened my pinion a little to tight, I have a new crush washer that I'm going to put in and see if that helps it.
