My clutch will be here Thursday, I am hoping to install it this weekend. I'll definitely post up some feedback once it's broken in.

Well, I have to go get the new gears in it tomorrow and my clutch comes in Thursday, so if I can get that installed on Saturday, I'll be at the track 500 miles after that, barring any complications. Then I start saving for the bad ass nitrous system I'm installing. Hopefully I see 10's this year.

They were heat cycled 100% correctly by my friend who did the install. They made noise right away, so we know it had to do with the set up.

I was totally wrong about the rearend setup. It's perfect - the problem was the torque arm was resting on the floorpan which transmitted a crapload of noise into the interior of the car. Did the BFH mod and hopefully that cures the problem. I am halfway though my clutch install, so I won't know if it worked until I am done.

                      Looks good Pat.

I debated about the S60/9" and ended up ordering a Midwest Chassis 9".

I'd like to see some 12.0's or high 11's this year with just bolt-on's.

I'm very happy with my rearend and clutch, as they're both installed now and mostly broke in. Figured out my rearend noise was partially from the interference and mostly from my torque arm mount. It's more annoying in my car due to the fact that someone cut the top off my lower shift boot so the sound travels into the car much easier. I've gotten used to it already. I'll just get a new lower shift boot and a little bit of sound deadening material to take care of it the rest of the way.

When you say you're looking to run 12.0's or high 11's with bolt ons, you must be running an automatic. I was only running 12.9's with bolt ons and 4.10's. I don't think an M6 car could hit low 12's with just bolt ons.
