lots of guys go into the 11s with bolt on cars, you just gotta drop some weight and get it to pull some 1.5 or lower 60' times
    Doing less with more

Yeah, weight reduction is something I don't plan on doing, really. Maybe a few things, but I doubt I'll get under 3500 LBS.

Sounds familiar I too ran 12.20's with my tr224.

Are you still running the tr224 with your nitrous?

            M6

I've been 12.7@113 so far with a 2.0 60ft. This is 3.42's......and I still don't have a underdrive on it. It's still stock weight as well

So with the 9", 3.89's, suspension, tires, it shouldn't be hard to cut 3-4 tenths on the 60'. That right there will get into the low 12's and it'll pick up a mph or 2.

wow...that's a big step up fom the tr224...What kind of times do you run without nitrous?

What is the rpm range like with that duration on a 114 lsa? It seems that most of the cams I have seen with that duration have a lower lsa and you need to rev the engine up to 7k to make good power.

Reason I'm asking is because I'm getting bored with my tr224 but I'm not sure how high I want to spin the engine.

that cam won't fit with stock pistons.
its all done my 6400-6500. I shift at 6800
                11.40's NA
                10.50's on spray
the plastic intakes(ls6, ls2, fast) all limit HP above 6500-6600RPm.
I speced a new cam that is a 111+4 that would wake my car up but I can't afford it right now

I really like the 230 236 112 thunder cam. doesn't drive bad and really screams. you would probably like it

I'm already in the 12.20's with a crappy launch. Going to find out tomorrow what my weak drivetrain has been holding me back from. I may step up to a slightly bigger cam and mill my heads to get me up to 11:1 later this summer. Might eke another 15HP out of her. I'm hoping for 11.70s-11.80s now.
