Thanks so much, I wish I knew more about suspension stuff. But that looks like my next purchase. I would like to wait though since the M9 package comes with one, even though that will be a few months. I shouldn't be getting on it to much anymore anyways since winter is here.

Ok so it has nothing to do with my rear end. I sat in the back while my dad drove trying to listen for the noise and it is definitely not coming from the rear. It is coming somewhere from the middle of the car between the front and rear wheels.

I'll describe it again, I'm hearing like a grinding/rattle sound and you can feel it with your feet on the floor. It only happens when I'm going 55ish plus and gets worse the higher the RPM.

It's not the U-joints since I just replaced the whole driveshaft with new u-joints...
I thought about it being the exhaust rattling but wouldn't it do it at all speeds...
It wouldn't be the transmission would it...

      I'm out of ideas...

OK, well I put the car up on four jack stands and got the car up to around 55mph and let off the gas pedal. It was making the grinding/rattle noise, but when I went under the car: one, the car is to loud for me to hear it under the car, two, I could see nothing hitting/rubbing against anything else, three, there weren't any bolts loose, and four I tried hitting the exhaust to hear if anything rattled and there was nothing.

Could it be my torque converter...

Ok, well I was reading that the cause of my problems might be a bad trans mount. So I went out and bought one, they only had the stiffer polyurethane Energy Suspension mount, and installed it.

Well when I took it out for a test drive I noticed my noise has gotten quieter and the clunk is not as bad. I think the new mount might have changed the pinion angle a bit.

I'm going to drop by a shop and see if they can't figure it out once and for all.
