Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Yeah I guess I just dont really care about streetablity because thats all in the mind of the beholder. I plan to run a 4000-4400 Stall in my DD
People usually freak out when you tell them 3800 and up stall speeds! 4000-4400 will rock as a daily driver! I had 3800 in my nova with a N/A 383 and it drove around like my stock truck. It all depends on the torque of the engine!!
Mike makes his own converters. as in cuts them open, does his magic and then welds them back together...besides i think he's a GN guy too, so i think he'd know atleast something about a V6
I use to be a GN guy, till the kids came and i had to sell it. I still love all things TURBO though. Can't wait till joe gets done wiring yours and you fire that monster up!!!
I think ive finally decided this is whats next for the car, cheapest way for that "seat of the pants" kind of change im looking for, while still being able to DD the car comfortably.
Im not sure which brands are good for the V6, I think im going for about a 3k stall, but this has to be TOTALLY streetable, I drive this thing EVERYDAY in the summer, with lots of highway miles, so I cant be loosing out to much in the fuel economy department. Those are the only requirements, have at it, jump on in with ANY suggestions you have, I have no real torq coverter/trans experience so ANY info is greatly appreciated.
I think for $ to $ spent, It's going to be hard to beat nitrous!!! By the time you have spent the money on the converter and the $$ to R&R the trans you would have a small nitrous kit with some $$$ left over.
The seat of the pants would be greater with the nitrous and you'd have no loss of fuel economy { untill you start blasting WOT a million times, Nitrous is addictive}.

Mike.
Ah, yeah i just remember you talking to Brian "Fat Man" about his GN. either way, yeah i can't wait for the wiring to be done and put the car on the T-Brake and 2 step!
Is it safe to spray a car with 95k on it? What would a good shot, 50, 75? What does a good wet kit cost?
as long as the engine is in good working order spraying it would be fine. I would suggest going dry over wet with our cars and a 50-75 shot goes along ways for our cars.
NOS 05175 is a great starter dry kit that I sell right on my site. Many guys run it with great success

2004 GMC Envoy - Tuned, Airraid Intake, rest stock
2005 Malibu - Stock, anyone have a ecotec factory gm supercharger for me? lol
bottle heater would be a good investment as you want the correct psi when spraying to get the full shot. a remote bottle opener if you don't want to go back there and open it. Depends on how stealthy you want it really.
