    Good info. Thanks. I see this Eaton Diff for sale for around $400 in the summit catalog. What do you guys know about these?

      I think you should get a z28 rear end for $300 and just do the swap instead of trying to install your own gears and diff. Gears and diff. are not an easy install for beginners by no means.

          uh? If asking how much, I got my z28 rear end for $300. They come with 3.42s, and LSD.

              oh it wasn't hard at all. Just drop old one, slide the new one in and go. Helps when you have a lift like me, lol.

                Hmm I dont have a lift but maybe I can borrow one...

                Maybe later this summer. Just trying to plan out my mods so I get the best bang for my buck and have a thorough understanding of options. Thanks guys!

                    Ive got POSI in my 3.8 and i love it!!

                    P.S. I dont think ur gona be borrowing a LIFT maby a jack but i dont think u'll be just takeing it over to your house and useing it lol

                      if u look on the cover there should be a small metal tab hanging on one of the bolts that says posi.

                                I was just throwing that out there, it seems that a lot of the older posi's have the tag on there so you put the posi additive into the fluid. My car, my brothers regal, and our other ta all have that tag on them.
