I think you should get a z28 rear end for $300 and just do the swap instead of trying to install your own gears and diff. Gears and diff. are not an easy install for beginners by no means.------------------------------------------

oh it wasn't hard at all. Just drop old one, slide the new one in and go. Helps when you have a lift like me, lol.------------------------------------------

is there another way to check? because i have been wondering but all the numbers on the sticker have been washed away.Originally posted by 97rs4lifeFirst check your car for a GU# code on the drivers door, and let us know what number you have. That will tell us what gears you currently have.

I'm thinking about doing this as well. But it will be a while. Have to take care of a few things first.Originally posted by ChevyCamaroRS97Ive got POSI in my 3.8 and i love it!!

I was just throwing that out there, it seems that a lot of the older posi's have the tag on there so you put the posi additive into the fluid. My car, my brothers regal, and our other ta all have that tag on them.sigpicAnd another thing.....when I gun the motor, I want the whole world to think it's coming to an end.
