cant freakin believe it! i know i posted this last weekend about a loose output shaft but there is no mistaking this. on my way home today from work, in the f in rain, i notice the tranny kicking out of gear going into 3rd. thought it might have been the rearend first, so took it down some side roads and started to play a little to see what was the issue. well as soon as i turned the corner and accelerated, it wouldnt get 3rd. so basically i limped it home and called performabuilt. he asked me to have it scanned to see if it was throwing any codes. got a hold of a friend with a snap on scanner and went for a ride. no codes. called performabuilt, its under warranty, and will have a new trans in 5 days. only thing that sucks is i have to do the labor myself. so tomorrow after work, ill be pulling it, shipping it, and very unpatiently waiting to reinstall the new one. anyone in my area around 3pm, stop in, lol. i was supposed to have my car dyno tuned this weekend in chicago, wont be making that, but at least it happened close to home and not 4 hrs away.

At least its under warranty. That really sucks, hopefully this one will last longer. -
