I would check the wheels if there balanced properley, maybe you have a bent rim from these damn MI roads, and also if you have crap inside the wheel that will throw the balance of the wheel off, I expience that problem all the time in my s10 living on a dirt road. Also you said that the shaft was balanced, maybe one of the wieghts fell off?

Nope everyting is still in place.

Car only gets driven when the sun is out so there isn't anything in the wheels.
Rims are good acording to Discount Tire.

I'm going to work on pulling the tranny and doing a few other checks like fly wheel and clutch balance.
I might have tossed something there or it has come loose but I don't see that happening because we used Red lock tight on ALL the screws.

It has to be drive-line realated I'm thinking because I had a second set of rims that I put on and it did the same thing.

That website you linked to, I'm assuming that's for a brand new trans by the price? $3200?

I just got my T56 rebuilt at Tick-Performance (www.tick-performance.com) for $1250 shipped. That included
Bronze 1-2 fork pads
Bronze 3-4 fork pads
Billet 3-4 syncro keys / upgraded springs
Carbon Fiber blocker rings
Steel 3-4 shift fork
New 1-2 slider
New 3-4 slider

which is their Level 2 rebuild. They called me once it was torn apart and also reccomended replacing the 5-6 slider which tacked on another measly $95. Shipping was around $120 there and another $120 back. It took them 8 days from the moment I dropped it off at DHL to get it back to my doorstep. They did top-notch work and I'd reccomend them to anyone. Just another option for you to consider if you do end up rebuilding.

liberty is local. They build some of the best t56's around. I am getting some parts for mine from them this week
