  • crap help...

    well now im confused.

My car was acting up majorly so replaced a ton of parts.

Ive gone through and replaced all of my ignition system but the coil however i had my coil tested. I replaced my fuel filter, ran a bottle of fuel injector cleaner not sure on the brand it was a few weeks ago...

    Its still chugging. any ideas??

If it's a plugged fuel injector, it may not fix itself overnight.

How many miles since the fixes?

they have all happened within the last 3,000. I think first it went plugs wires, cap and rotor, then distributor, ign. module, then fuel filter. I think i'm forgetting something. TPS was replaced also.

I haven't checked injectors like changing them out. That maybe next to replace.

Any other parts that may have gone bad?

            no. no cats.

You start up the car... then once you start driving you cant accelerate fast at all. you put it to the floor it dies... press it down a decent amount and it will like "Chug". Like it wont accelerate anymore. to get to 25 mph it takes me a complete block in town. other than that I'm not really sure how to explain it..I hope that helps some because i need to fix this problem soon.

is there any blow back - you might still want to drop the x-pipe and see if the power returns

so are you just running straight pipes from the headers/manifolds to the mufflers?

                          possiable fuel pump?
Hook up a fuel pressure guage and see what psi you are running.
Not sure on a TBI whats its suppost to be.

maybe its stuck in limp mode? Possiable bad ecm?
