Anyone here delete their ABS and TCS? I looked on ls1tech and seen some nice setups of people deleting ABS and buying those SJM kits for a lot of $$$.
Couldn't you just pull the ABS fuse and cap off the lines or something and then rip out the box. No need to rig up those other lines and proportioning valve to change the brake ratio away from 50/50? Save even more weight off the nose.
TCS can be disabled from using HPtuners then and the tcs lines can be removed for some weight reduction too.
Any suggestions or tips on deleting the ABS, or at least the rear ABS.
This is for my brothers 99 bird that we are trying to figure this all out. He has one ABS sensor on the top of the pumpkin (and has TCS on his v6) and the v8 rear he bought has a sensor by each axle for ABS. So we want to just not use the ABS for the back and not worry about the two sensor thing
