problem..

Ok problem

I was installing my stealth box last night with friend. And my amp wont work...

Had to take out the lil bose speaker thing in the back..installed the box..went to hook up the woofer to the amp..and my amp wont even turn on?

Everything is connected...nothing is off..i checked the battery and the fuse and everything is good..but my amp wont turn on and i was getting frustrated and called it quits..any one know whats up?

No idea. I'm not that good with electronics like that, but I'd venture a guess that the amp isn't getting power. Either that or it's getting plenty of power and it's just fried. You're positive it works? Maybe the connection to the sub in the box is not connected or something? We need a little more info to be able to help you more effectively. Is the remote cable from the stereo hooked up to the amp?

everything is hooked up fine..the amp was just working...

Ya check all your wires. If there all fine, I'd hook the amp up in a buddies ride and see if it works. If it don't, well then u know what the problem is.

make sure you have good ground wires, no paint under the ground locations, make sure it's bare metal, nice and snug. Also check the fuse in your power wire make sure it hasn't popped. Anyways good luck.

Checked ground its good..already checked both fuses..they are all good...

Best advice I have is to check it in a buddies' car. That's about the only thing I can think of if you've already checked everything else.

bench test it, if you pulled any wire it could have broken in the jacket

what do you mean bench test?

take the car and all wiring out of the equation, use another car, or run some wires to the battery and some rca's and see what happens

ok i fixed the problem..now we have another..well IDK..

Ok i was real eager to get my sub going again and my dumbass is outside about 1hr ago..with lil light snow/rain ish thing..i was about to connect the wires to the amp (the woofer wires)...and a spark came ...i dont know if it was because of the rain or was because i accidently touched the pclead wire i think with the neg or pos of the woofer.....did i like..break anything again lol or will i be fine..im going to wait untill i get into a garage or something this time instead of being stubborn and yea..i tried hooking the wires up and woofer wouldnt kick..i couldnt really see if it was in the pos or neg..or i did both wires switched them..you know...if the two wires didnt work in the spot..switch them to the other side so the neg would be pos and the pos would be neg...wiring in the box is just fine...
