90 degree metal tabs and screwed them into the sub box on one side and the trim on the other. Seemed stable enough, but a center attachment through the latch would have helped.

I have to come up with a system to secure the sub box. I am not crazy about the idea of drilling holes in sheet metal, but I may not have a choice.

That's where mine is too, and I am not the biggest fan of it, although it does fit perfectly with the top down. Not having to worry about T-tops, the PO had used the trunk "well" as a sub box, throwing dynamat on it and covering with MDF to mount the sub to.

I was kicking around the idea of relocating the amp to the rear wall, and I really like this design. I think my Memphis Belle would look great on that back wall.

            Here's what I have now:

That's actually a really clean install Atrus. Just looking to get more usable cargo space?

Partly - I don't really like how the amp looks in person - just doesn't seem quite as clean of an install in that spot as I would like it. Also, I'd like to pick up a tonneau cover (the OE three piece plastic deal that covers the top when it's down), and I believe that's where it would sit.

Wiring has begun. Rca's are run. Starting the speaker wires tonight. Im hoping to have the interior back together Sunday.
Where can I get connectors for the speaker wires? The small,2 size spade connectors?

You should be able to get those at any auto parts store (autozone, orielly's, advance) or even radio shack.

Well, All done. Ill get some pics up in a little while. I have to get the car over to the body shop today for some work, getting the rockers repaired and some other paint work fixed.
I have to be honest....That was a lot of work! Sounds Pretty good but daaaammmmnnnnn!!! I still have to have the amps set up, I haven't touched the gains yet, but @35 on the loud button its still crystal clear. Needs to be louder though.....lol.
Heres the list. Kenwood H.U. bt558u. Sound Ordinance 4 way amp. and A California 600 watt 2 way for sub duties. All Polk speakers. dxi6501 components up front, dxi6501 in the sail panels, and 2, 10" (cant remember the designation) in the box. The box is just a 1/2" mdf box built to the size designated by the mfr. per speaker. I think its actually a little on the small size, I forgot to increase the displacement to compensate for the speakers themselves, sealed, no port.

I would like to say thanks to Gasman for his technical assistance during this installation.

Do you have that box secured down? In an emergency stop situation, I'd hate to have that thing flying at my head. I've seen it happen before when I ran the audio shop. Messed that guy up BAD.

Not yet, I am contemplating which method to use. Im not a fan of drilling holes in stuff, at least until I know its unavoidable. Its @ the body shop now so I have a month to think of something. But in the end it will probably be some kind of 90 degree brackets and screws.
