Time for a new stereo?

Not sure if I should post this here or in the anything goes section. If this is the wrong section I do apologize.

Here's the deal, I bought my 94 trans am last night. I was cleaning the inside out today I noticed a few things about the head unit.

Problems:
Will not turn off.
Keeps switching to random stations with out me touching it every 30 seconds.

I've made sure the buttons weren't just sticking..

Anyone else have problems like this? This is my first trans am!

It's just the stock one.

you should be able to pull it out and remove the buttons or replace them if they are worn out, while you do this clean area where the buttons sit

No prob Nick, I had to replace a couple buttons on my buddies Envoy for him, you can order the buttons from the dealer, he got them cheap a couple bucks for a handful of preset buttons.

post up your results. Hopefully it does the trick, other wise dial up the priest

Woah, really? I never knew that! My wife's G6 radio has looked terrible for years. Don't want to/can't replace it as it has the integrated DIC.
